Most association managers offer full service while doing one thing extraordinarily well. For ADG, that “extraordinary thing” is communication—equipping associations to reach members more effectively than ever before.
Communication expertise starts at the top. Our president, Kathy Van de Loo, spent 11 years with a renowned New York lobbying firm, helping trade associations communicate with their members and the Legislature. In 1996, she began to build a model for a new company that would both grow associations and help them deliver their message.
Today’s ADG is the result. We serve 14 not-for-profit associations with such services as day-to-day management, professional development, and strategic planning. The communications team consists of award-winning talent who think incisively and communicate with impact. The small staff holds big credentials: it includes Certified Association Executives, MBAs, and graduates of the Association Leadership Academy.
Together, they help associations keep their eye on the big picture, continually improve their services, and deliver what members want from their membership in the 21st century.
