Joseph P. Van De Loo is the Vice President of the Association Development Group, Inc. – an Albany based company dedicated to communications and association management.
Prior to ADG, Joe worked in the government relations, communications, and public relations fields for many years. Joe was a Lyndon Baines Johnson Congressional Fellow in the 95th Congress and worked in offices of members of both the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, DC and the New York State Assembly in Albany. He has been responsible for developing and executing public relations, lobbying and grassroots campaigns for statewide associations and coalitions and has managed political campaigns for both Democratic and Republican candidates.
Joe is a 1979 graduate of Union College, magna cum laude, with honors in political science. In addition, he holds a Juris Doctor degree from Union University. Joe is a member of the Empire State Society of Association Executives. He has been an active volunteer for various fundraising and community development committees and has served on the Board of the Albany-area Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
He resides in the Albany area with his wife Kathleen Van De Loo, the founder and President of the Association Development Group, Inc. Joe and Kathy have three wonderful children, Emily, Jonathan, and Justin.
