Megan Thompson
Association Communications Manager

Megan Thompson joined Association Development Group, Inc. in January 2007.

Before coming to ADG, Meg spent three years as the Communications Manager for Support Services Alliance (SSA), a New York State small-business membership organization serving nearly 15,000 member companies. There, she coordinated and edited all of their publications and was responsible for the redesign of their bi-monthly magazine. Under her leadership, the magazine won the Communicator Awards’ “Award of Distinction” and MarCom Gold Award in 2006. Meg also implemented and managed member retention campaigns, which included direct mail pieces, marketing e-mails, and internal advertisements promoting member programs and discounts.

Meg is a graduate of Marist College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration on writing. She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts degree in Public Communications from The College of Saint Rose. Meg is a member of the Capital District Public Relations Society of America, contributing to the Communications Committee.
